SCHOOL BOARD POLICY

The Criminal Records Review Act requires that all current and new employees and contracted persons who work with or have the potential to work with students of this district must provide a signed Criminal Record Check Authorization form.

The School District considers that all of its employees and contracted persons who provide specified services and who work with students directly or have the potential of having unsupervised access to students are in positions of trust regarding the safety and security of these students. All persons employed in the School District as of January 1, 1996, shall undergo and pass a criminal records check as a condition of employment.

The procedural requirement to comply with the Criminal Records Review Act will be as outlined in the regulations.
