SCHOOL BOARD POLICY

In the case of an employee who dies while in the Board's employ, the estate will receive the employee's salary for a one month period from the date of the employee's death.

To ensure that this benefit is not paid twice for the same estate, this policy will not apply if the employee has Death Benefits coverage as part of their employment contract or Collective Agreement.
