SCHOOL BOARD POLICY

 
The Board of School Trustees believes students, staff and parents are served best by Directors, Principals and Vice-Principals who provide exemplary leadership. The Board expects its administrators to meet professional responsibilities with honesty, integrity, dignity and respect for all students, staff, parents and others with whom they work. The Board expects administrators to personally strive for excellence in their assignment, continually promoting quality leadership. This type of leadership is supported by two district components in addition to the duties outlined in the School Act. They are:

1.      Performance Review of Administrators:
          •    The district’s evaluation of leadership style and work performance.

2.      Administrative Professional Growth Plan:
           •    The professional responsibility for self-directed administrative and instructional quality and the personal desire to become more effective.
