SCHOOL BOARD POLICY

 
 
The Sooke School Board recognizes that the health and safety of all employees and students is of primary concern, and is therefore committed to providing a healthy and safe working and learning environment.

It is the responsibility of the Board and its administrators to establish and maintain standards and practices in compliance with, but not limited to, legal and regulatory requirements in order to protect employees and students against health hazards and accidents.

It is the responsibility of supervisors to develop safe work procedures and ensure that each employee is properly trained to perform his/her job.

It is the responsibility of all employees to comply with all established safety rules and regulations, follow safe work procedures and actively participate in making their work environment safe and productive.
